BED BUG HEAT TREATMENT
For anyone who found the telltale bites or spots and wants this over with — discreetly, in one day, without throwing out furniture or living out of trash bags for a month.
How we handle it
Bed bugs are the one pest where we'll tell you plainly: chemicals alone are the slow, unreliable road. Modern bed bug populations carry heavy pesticide resistance, and sprays can't reach the folds, voids and screw holes where they wait. Heat can. We bring the whole treatment area to a sustained 130°F+ — lethal to every life stage including eggs, which no spray reliably kills — and hold it there for hours while fans push the heat into every seam of every room.
The day runs like this: our crew arrives in an unmarked vehicle in the morning (your neighbors have no reason to know your business), sets electric heaters and remote temperature sensors through the treatment area, and monitors from outside as the temperature climbs and holds. Sensors in the coldest spots — mattress cores, sofa interiors, closet floors — prove the lethal temperature reached everywhere. By evening, the house has cooled and you sleep in your own bed. The mattress stays; the bed bugs don't.
We finish with a targeted residual treatment at entry-adjacent points as insurance and include a 60-day follow-up inspection. Is one day really enough?
For heat, yes — that's the entire advantage. Sustained 130°F+ kills every life stage the same afternoon, eggs included. Chemical-only programs need three or four visits over six weeks and still miss resistant populations. We verify with sensors, not hope.
What do I need to do before treatment day?
Less than you'd think. We send a one-page prep list: remove pets and heat-sensitive items (candles, aerosols, some medications, instruments), leave everything else in place. Bagging up your whole closet is exactly what we're saving you from.
Will the heat damage my electronics or furniture?
Our target range is chosen to be lethal to bed bugs and safe for homes — it's a hot Florida attic, not an oven. TVs, computers and wood furniture handle it fine. The handful of genuinely sensitive items go on the prep list, and our crew double-checks the space before heat-up.
